The Singleton of Dufftown has released a fantastic album. This single malt mixes whiskies that have been aged for an astonishing 25 years in a combination of sherry oak and ex-bourbon casks, hand-picked by Dufftown's Master of Malts, Maureen Robinson, and her staff from the distillery's older stock. The whiskies are then blended in toasted American oak casks, a procedure known as "Trinity Cask Harmony" by the team. This is a wonderful expression that is a beautiful symphony of distillation prowess and cask influence.
