The Singleton of Glen Ord 12 Year Old single malt whiskey is smooth, rich, and wonderfully balanced. Golden barley fields bloom here in the thick, dark soil. Water rushes down the White Burn river from two highland lochs, one fed by springs and the other by rain, 'from heaven and earth.' The Singleton of Glen Ord is still shaped in the same old manner. Every skill and ingredient used here can still be found in the area. The distillery still malts and meticulously dries local barley. Because of the long fermentation, the whisky develops its flavour gradually, simply, and organically, making it one of the best scotch whiskies.
