The Macallan Edition No.2 release was created in partnership with Master Whisky Maker Bob Dalgarno and the three brothers of El Celler de Can Roca (named Best Restaurant in the World twice by Restaurant magazine). This single malt was distilled from a blend of European and American oak barrels.
Nose: Mocha, brown sugar, a smidgeon of ginger, and a touch of oaky warmth.
Palate: Sherried raisins and dried citrus peels emerge, with a note of vegetal wood. It's still a touch chocolaty.
Finish: Lemon peels with spiced fruit cake.
