The Balvenie produces a fantastic single malt. This Speysider was aged in standard oak casks for the first few years before being completed in casks that had previously housed Caribbean rum, adding richness and warmth to the whisky. In truth, it was created by Balvenie malt master David C. Stewart.

Nose: Tropical fruits, particularly passion fruit, and creamy toffee, dominate the scent. Palate: A creamy palate with flavours of apples and mangoes, with a hint of orange in the background, is formed by sweet vanilla.. Finish: The end has a vanilla flavour that lingers. |
