VINTAGE YEAR MAY BE VARY FROM THE PHOTO
The Old Testament vineyard is located in the heart of Coonawarra, where vigneron David Wittwer grows this Cabernet. Because Coonawarra cabernet can manage Bordelais finesse, tannin, and quiet force, some of us believe it is a satellite appellation of Bordeaux.

Taste |
- Nose: Deep and hidden depths of Cabernet, with hints of vibrant blackberry flavor, cinnamon, cooked beetroot, and violets. The aromatics emerge gradually and blend with an understated oak bouquet. Herbs, fertile fields, and berries dangling from the cane. - Entry: A fresh line of lingering acidity adds tension and balance to the typically assertive Cabernet tannins and the weight of the just-ripe berry fruit flavors and textures. - Palate: This red wine's composition makes it a pleasure to drink today, but it will age beautifully in the bottle. At the end of the palate, acidity and tannins battle it out before luscious yet taut fruit takes the lead. |
