Young and not very complex Bordeaux but a very decent volume and a pleasant aromatic expression. Worth waiting a little more. The colour was brilliant, rich, and dark, almost "cherry" in appearance...and it did have cherry undertones. Blackberry flavours abound on the palate, which is round and full-bodied. The tannins are rich and smooth, giving the wine a wonderful structure. A juicy and rich wine.
